Make a Difference Day 2020

Saturday, November 21, 2020 is when we are observing national Make a Difference Day.  Here is an opportunity for you to participate.  We will be assisting the all-volunteer Santa Claus, Incorporated of Greater San Bernardino to help prepare for their annual holiday allocation. We will be on-site assembling fleece blankets.

The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at 824 E 6th Street in San Bernardino.  Exit the 10 at Waterman, go north, turn right onto 6th.

Space is limited for volunteers. Chapters may register their volunteers for one-hour shifts using the following form:

Registration is due by November 14. Space is limited to four representatives from each chapter per hour. Individuals may be registered for multiple shifts. COVID-19 precautions will be in place. All participants will undergo a health check, including temperature check, must wear a mask at all times, and must practice social distancing while on site. The event will be held outside.

In addition to providing the labor for assembling the blankets, we will also be making a donation of fleece material. We are requesting a $10 donation from each chapter member, whether or not participating on-site, for the fleece fund. Donations may be made through the following online services:

Chapters that have donations made by their members will be recognized as full participants in the event. On-site participation is not required.
